Montgomery 9, Carolina 1 (game 1). Chris Mason picked up his 15th win, striking out 9 and walking none in 5 innings. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits. Chris Nowak was 3-3 with 2 doubles. Reid Brignac was 2-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. John Jaso was 3-4 and is now hitting .320.
Montgomery 2, Carolina 1 (game 1). Fernando Perez and Brooks Badeaux hit back-to-back home runs to lead off the game. The Biscuits managed only 4 more hits the rest of the game.
Brooklyn 3, Hudson Valley 2 (game 1). Alex Cobb gave up 3 runs in 5 innings.
Brooklyn 4, Hudson Valey 0 (game 2). The ‘Gades were shutout on 1 hit.
